Toshiba Label Printers - Industrial barcode printers are generally designed to run at a high volume and for long periods of time.  Most are designed so they can handle continuous printing activity around the clock, 7 days a week.  Generally Industrial barcode printers are rugged in design (mostly metal) and very versatile when it comes to data interfaces and accessories.  In the barcode printer industry, they are referred to as "industrial" if they hold an 8" roll of thermal labels. 

Typically, industrial barcode printers have printheads that are over 4 inches in print width.  (A 4” printhead can print on a label up to 4 inches wide).  Of coarse there are barcode printers available that can print on 5, 6 or even 8 inch wide labels.  Most all Toshiba Industrial printers give you the ability to print using thermal transfer or direct thermal and generally at high speeds.  Toshiba industrial barcode printers also typically have advanced features such as ribbon saver and come in either near-edge or flat printhead designs.
